PREAMBLE

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the means that Syvema implements to collect and process your personal data, which you are required to provide to Syvema through the use of the www.syvema.com site, in strict compliance with your rights.

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) is composed of a set of principles and rules aimed at harmonizing data protection laws within the European Union and increasing the protection of data protection personal data.

This means that the GDPR specifies how companies (e.g. Syvema) must inform anyone who visits the www.syvema.com site, about how their data is collected and protected.

DEFINITIONS

Buyer: refers to any natural person who makes or has made an order on the site of www.syvema.com

Syvema : means the Syvema micro-enterprise managed by Mrs. Lana Duga, registered in the Register of Trades, SIREN No. 830 106 514 – Registered office : 75 Rue de Lourmel, 75015 Paris.

Personal data : means all data that identify an individual directly or indirectly, by aggregation of several data which corresponds in particular to your surname, first name(s), pseudonym, e-mail address, telephone number(s), date of birth, data relating to your transactions on the Site, as well as any other information that Syvema may request from you and that you choose to provide to us about yourself, as further specified in Section 2 below.

Products: refers to all the Products offered for sale on the Site.

Site: refers to Syvema’s Website, accessible at www.syvema.com

1/DATA COLLECTED BY SYVEMA

During the purchase process, Syvema processes personal data to enable it to manage, bill, ship and track orders placed on the Site.
We inform you, when collecting your personal data, if certain data must be provided or if they are optional. We also inform you of the possible consequences of failure to respond. 

  • Data that you transmit directly such as :
  1. The data necessary for the creation of your Account on the Site: Title, Surname, First name, email address, date of birth.
  2. A phone number + email address that is requested at the time you want to place an order.
  3. A copy of all orders placed on our Site.
  4. Details of financial or accounting transactions carried out on our Site.
  5. The history of your visits to our Site and the content you have accessed.
  6. Data that Syvema requests by email when you report a problem with our Site or our services, such as the subject of your request.

Syvema records usage and navigation data when you access the Site.

During each of your visits, Syvema may collect, in accordance with applicable legislation and with your consent, if applicable, information relating to the devices on which you use the Site or the networks from which you access the Site, such as in particular your IP addresses, browser plugins, operating systems and platforms, data concerning your browsing path on our Site, including your browsing path on the various URL pages of our Site, the content you access or consult. 

Cookies :

To collect this information, Syvema uses cookies in particular. A cookie is a small file stored by a server in a user’s terminal (computer, telephone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (i.e. in most cases to all the pages of the same website).  This file is automatically returned during subsequent contacts with the same domain. Syvema also collects information about your use of our Site (such as the number of orders placed and their details).

2/DATA RETENTION

Your personal data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to manage the commercial relationship between the Buyer (or Prospect) and Syvema for a period of 12 months from the end of said commercial relationship.

Once the 24-month period has passed, your data will be deleted or archived in accordance with the provisions in force, and in particular those provided for by the Commercial Code, the Civil Code and the Consumer Code for strictly limited reasons authorized by law (payment, guarantee, disputes, etc.).

Financial data (payments, refunds, etc.), they are kept for the duration required by the applicable tax and accounting laws.

3/BENEFICIARY OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will only be passed on to our service providers and contractual partners, as a subcontractor within the meaning of the GDPR, for the purpose of ensuring proper order management and monitoring of the resulting business relationship, in particular:

  1. To our payment service provider to offer you remote payment of our products by credit card;
  2. Transport services (in particular La Poste) allowing the delivery of products ordered by the Buyer to the address previously communicated by the latter.

Subcontractors may only act on instructions from Syvema.

4/SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

We inform you to take all necessary precautions, organizational and technical measures appropriate to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data and in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

5/RIGHTS OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, DELETION, RESTRICTION AND CONTESTATION OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the GDPR, the following rights are recognised regarding the processing of your personal data:

  • Right of access

You have the right to verify that your personal data is being processed, and where applicable, to obtain a copy of this data and full information about the processing.

  • Right to rectification

You have the right to correct errors, modify inaccurate or incomplete data and verify that the processed data is accurate.

  • Right to erasure

You have the right to delete your data without undue delay if the processing is unlawful or the purpose of the processing or collection has ceased.

  • Right to restriction

You have the right to request the suspension of processing if it is unlawful or inappropriate;
